Bottle #タムナヴーリン(TAMNAVULIN)
It was a good starter with a distinctive character. Tamnavulin TAMNAVULIN 10yo OB 40% Circulated in the 1980s The aroma has a pleasant old-fashioned feel, with wilted orange, cream, and a refined barley note alongside a light tea scent. Upon tasting, it has a slightly rough texture but a gentle mouthfeel with hints of orange marmalade and honey, offering a rich sweetness. It also has a plant-like quality and a subtle bitterness, with the deep umami of barley seeping through. 【Good/Very Good】 This is the official standard bottle of Tamnavulin 10 Year Old, 40%, circulated in the 1980s. As an old-style watered-down whisky, it has a strong old-fashioned feel, but the aroma is impressively reminiscent of the standard quality of its time, with a deep and gentle barley umami. It has plant-like qualities and some bitterness typical of Tamnavulin, but these were not unpleasant and could be enjoyed as the unique character of a single malt. It has a good body, and overall, it was more enjoyable after drinking. While it has the distinctiveness of a single malt, it was also smooth and a good starter.
