Glenlivet GLENLIVET 11yo THE WHISKY EXCHANGE retro label 57.9%
Bottle #グレンリベット(GLENLIVET)
There's a slightly mismatched feel, but it has a decent sherry character typical of recent releases. Glenlivet GLENLIVET 11yo THE WHISKY EXCHANGE retro label 57.9% The aroma features recent sherry notes, bitter chocolate-covered orange, plum jam, American coffee, spices like clove, a malty sweetness with a slightly burnt character, and richness. When tasted, it starts with a viscous mouthfeel followed by a strong spicy kick, thick jam-like sweetness, moderate tannic dryness, malty umami, and a spicy finish. [Good/Very Good] New release from The Whisky Exchange: Glenlivet 11 Year Old with a retro label. Although there's no vintage date, estimating backwards it would be around 2004. While it has a sherry character typical of recent releases, it offers a diverse range of aromas including fruits, coffee, spices, and a strong presence of malt. There's a slight mismatch between the original spirit and the cask, giving it an unbalanced feel. However, I believe this will settle down a bit after bottling or opening. How such whisky evolves over 20 years is something that interests me greatly. #Glenlivet (GLENLIVET)
