New Release: Current: Aultmore 12 Year Old Official

Aultmore AULTMORE 12yo OB 46%
Bottle #オルトモア(AULTMORE)
It had a clean, refined aroma as a standard whisky. Aultmore AULTMORE 12yo OB 46% The aroma is elegant, with fresh orange, green apple, white wine, vanilla, diluted honey, and a gentle cereal note without any harshness. When tasted, it offers a refreshing citrus sweetness and acidity, a light peach note, mild cereal notes, a balanced oakiness, and a clean finish. [Good/Very Good] This is the official 12-year-old release of the newly revamped Aultmore. The bottle features Foggymoss spring, which is the water source used in its production. While we previously introduced the small batch 21-year-old, this is the standard 12-year-old. The aroma seems to be primarily from bourbon casks, yet it lacks any unpleasant woody notes and does not feel overly matured. It has a nice balance of aging, remaining clean throughout. I felt it had a similar character to my favorite 1980s old Aultmore. Priced around 6,000 yen, it's a bit on the higher side for a standard 12-year-old bottle. However, unlike no-age statements, it clearly conveys the aging character and is a well-crafted malt that I appreciate. #Aultmore (AULTMORE)
