Springbank SPRINGBANK 12yo OB ceramic jag 43% Circulated in the 1970s
The aroma is elegant, with a good old feel, notes of strawberry jam, faint peach and coconut, vanilla cream, gentle barley notes. Upon drinking, it offers flavors of strawberry and orange, a rich sweetness with a balanced oakiness, briny notes, a texture that lingers on the tongue, slightly creamy, and a long, intoxicating finish.
[Good/Very Good]
This Springbank 12 Year Old, in an official ceramic bottle, is believed to have circulated in the 1970s. The condition is good with a pleasant old feel. It has a fragrant, floral aroma typical of malt whisky, and distinctive nuances such as the strawberry jam-like scent and brininess are clearly perceptible. The gentle barley notes, accompanied by a texture that lingers on the tongue, are reminiscent of old standards and left a pleasant impression with an intoxicating finish. While it can be difficult to distinguish between bottles that have lost volume or are in poor condition, fortunately, I have never come across a dud bottle of this kind at Yurakucho or at home. It had a familiar and stable deliciousness.
