Glenfarclas 15 Year Old Official Bottling 1970s

Glenfarclas GLENFARCLAS 15yo OB 46% 1970s Bottling
Bottle #グレンファークラス(GLENFARCLAS)
What stood out was the satisfaction after drinking it rather than the aroma. Glenfarclas GLENFARCLAS 15yo OB 46% 1970s Bottling The aroma has a good sherry note, ripe orange, plum, and a well-rounded malty character with slightly earthy undertones. Upon drinking, it has a smooth mouthfeel with juicy orange notes, some grape-like characteristics, and a honeyed sweetness that blends well with the malty depth, leaving a pleasant aftertaste. [Very Good] This is an official bottling of Glenfarclas 15 Year Old that was released in the 1970s. The aroma is good sherry, but lacks complexity and has a somewhat plain impression. However, the maltiness was surprisingly strong alongside the ripe fruits. Upon drinking, there's a juicy quality and grape-like notes emerge. Additionally, the honeyed sweetness that isn't masked by sherry and the malty depth that lingers on the tongue are very pleasant, making it a favorite flavor for me. While it was overshadowed by the more flamboyant and complex 12 Year Old Jackson, I think this bottle has its own depth of flavor and is an excellent bottling in its own right. I received this bottle from IAN at Mitsuco's Ise Grand Department Store. #Glenfarclas (GLENFARCLAS)
