Longmorn 15 Year Old Official Old Bottle

#ロングモーン(LONGMORN)
A high-quality Speyside malt with no rough edges. Longmorn LONGMORN 15yo OB 45% Old Label The aroma features ripe oranges, plums, a subtle jamminess, diluted coffee, and a refined cereal note from the depths. On the palate, it begins with a smooth texture, expanding into a slightly rich flavor with some viscosity, offering the sweetness of apricot jam and a faint acidity, finishing with a long-lasting aftertaste. [Good/Very Good] This is the official 15-year-old Longmorn, released before the current standard 16-year-old 48% version. The aroma is rich with Speyside-style fruits like ripe oranges and plums, while also exhibiting the characteristic cereal notes of an official standard. It's not monotonous but rather has a certain depth. Upon tasting, the fruity character similar to the aroma is complemented by a slightly rich, viscous texture, which was very pleasant. I've enjoyed several bottles of this in the past, and even now it remains a reassuringly Speyside-style malt that hasn't changed since its release. While the current 16-year-old 48% version I introduced recently isn't bad, I feel this bottle better embodies the essence of Longmorn, the mighty representative of Speyside. I recently had the chance to compare them side by side.
