GlenGoyne 17 Year Old Official 1980s Circulation

GlenGoyne GLENGOYNE 17yo OB 43% - 1980s Circulation
Bottle #グレンゴイン(GLENGOYNE)
It had a strong old-fashioned feel but also some charm. GlenGoyne GLENGOYNE 17yo OB 43% 1980s Circulation The aroma had a light hine with an old-fashioned feel, caramel, bitter chocolate-dipped dry orange, oversteeped black tea, and a matured barley note. On the palate, it started with a smooth mouthfeel but had a slightly tannic, gritty texture. Notes of apricot jam, diluted caramel sauce, a slight plastic cap smell, a rich sweetness, and a tightening astringency with a grassy bitterness. 【Good】 This is the GlenGoyne 17 Year Old from the 1980s. This is the only 17-year-old in a slightly unusual bottle. While it had a stronger old-fashioned feel with some hine and plastic cap notes, it also had a matured old-style texture and nuances reminiscent of older sherry casks. The rich sweetness and tightening astringency gave it depth. It had both likeable and dislikeable aspects, not something to drink continuously, but overall it's a Good whisky. Additionally, I've had several bottles in good condition, and most left a positive impression.
