【Good/Very Good】
This is Laphroaig 18 Year Old from The Whisky Exchange for The Whisky Show 2014.
There is no vintage indicated, but like the same series Clydesdale, this is also thought to be from around 1995 or 1996.
It has a rich fruity note with matured nuances, and the peat with characteristic iodine and smoke can be clearly felt from the aroma.
When drinking it, surprisingly smooth, with sweetness not too strong, and the oak nuances that deepen the flavor were good.
It has a citrusy fruity concentration with a powdery texture, but rather than that type which is present from a young stage regardless of maturation period, it had an impression of good matured fruity notes.
