Bottle #グレンリベット(GLENLIVET)
A strong and wonderful sherried character. Glenlivet GLENLIVET 19yo MOON IMPORT 55% one of 600 bottles, sherry wood The aroma is a strongly powerful sherried character with dried fruits, berry jam, caramel sauce, American coffee, clove, bouquet garni, burnt barley, faint peat. When drinking it has a thick texture, strong and rich sherried character, the intense sweetness of berry jam with good woodiness and tannic astringency, mint, complex and rich, long lingering aftertaste that clings to the mouth. 【Very Good】 This is a Glenlivet 19 Year Old from the early Moon Import bottling, which was bottled in the 80s, so it is likely distilled in the 60s. It was opened at the 15th anniversary celebration of Campbelltown Loch, Yurakucho. The aroma is a strong sherried character with the noble quality of a 60s sherry cask, and it is very complex and heavy with dried fruits, caramel, coffee, and spices or herbs. Although it's a very sherry cask, the maturation is not too long so you can also feel barley from deeper within. When drinking it, the texture is thick and concentrated with a viscous feel, and the strong, complex sherry nuances similar to the aroma are strongly felt. It has a deep flavor with a rich jam-like sweetness and a slight astringency, with the strength of a high proof whisky, and the aftertaste is very pleasant and long. Although it's a very sherry cask malt, the maturation is not too long, and the thick body with a refined finish was simply amazing.
