Bottle #グレングラント(GLENGRANT)
It had a noble and sensuous sherry character reminiscent of GM Old. GlenGrant GLENGRANT 1957-2007 GM Distillery Labels 40% The aroma was sensuous, with notes of apricot tea, antique furniture, grape juice, slightly creamy, with old peat in the background. The mouthfeel was smooth, with a sensuous old sherry character, sweet apricot jam flavor, good astringency, antique furniture notes, and a captivating aftertaste. The balance was also good, with a long finish. 【Very Good】 This bottling aged for approximately 50 years, filled in 1957 and 2007 from GM distillery labels. As I've mentioned before, the sherry character of this era's GM has a unique quality, with particular excellence in fruitiness and woodiness, often evoking sensuous and captivating sensations. Moreover, despite the long maturation period, there were no harsh bitter or astringent off-flavors, and it's common to find the content rich and concentrated even when diluted, with a long finish. When considering GM Grant with old sherry influence, I've recently given several bottles Excellent ratings, and this bottling followed a similar trend. However, due to slightly less complexity compared to others, I rated this as Very Good. If there were no strong competitors for comparison, it might have received a slightly better rating. #GlenGrant (GLENGRANT)
