From the start, I was overwhelmed by the noble aroma of a seductive old sherry. It contains an incredibly diverse range of fruits including berries and grape juice, along with tea, leather, antique furniture-like woodiness, and earthy notes. It is extremely complex, with aromas continuously emerging. When tasted, it begins with a smooth mouthfeel that spreads richly and powerfully throughout the mouth. As with the aroma, diverse flavors such as fruits, leather, decaying leaves, woodiness, and herbs emerge sequentially. The peaty sensation underlying the entire profile was also very impressive. The balance between rich sweetness and good astringency is flawless, allowing me to savor the seductive intoxication from start to finish of the long aftertaste.
