Glenugie 1966 15 Year GM Connoisseurs Choice

Glenugie GLENUGIE 1966 15yo GM CONNOISSEURS CHOICE 40%
Bottle #グレンアギー(GLENUGIE)
Agye from Brown Connoisseurs, as expected, distilled in the 60s and bottled in the early 80s. Glenugie GLENUGIE 1966 15yo GM CONNOISSEURS CHOICE 40% The aroma features old-fashioned sherry, black tea, withered orange, herbs, diluted caramel sauce. On the palate, it has a gentle mouthfeel with a noble and sensuous nuance of old sherry, tanned leather, mint, mild sweetness, rounded barley, and faint herbs. 【Good/Very Good】 GM's Connoisseurs Choice, the so-called Brown Connoisseurs' Glenugie 1966, aged for 15 years. This would be a bottling from the early 1980s. Given that significant time has passed since its water-added bottling, the old-fashioned character is notably strong. However, what stood out was the gentle assertion of a dried, noble sherry character. Additionally, while I often associate this range of Agye with the image of fully ripe tropical fruits, that sensation was not present here. Although the body has diminished and its peak drinking period likely passed, it still contains former complexity and sensuality, offering a calm and rounded flavor that was more than sufficient to make me think 'I'm glad I drank this.' #Glenugie (GLENUGIE)
