Springbank 1967 10 Year Old Official Italian Bottling #3129

Springbank SPRINGBANK 1967 10yo OB for Italy #3129 59%
Bottle #スプリングバンク(SPRINGBANK)
The collaboration between sherry-type fruits and malt is simply wonderful. Springbank SPRINGBANK 1967 10yo OB for Italy #3129 59% A seductive aroma with notes of berry jam, apricot jam, caramel, orange, dried fruit, strong woody tones with a hint of light incense, clove, cinnamon, herbs, a solid barley character with a plant-like dry well grassiness. On the palate, it offers a mix of berry jams and their sweetness, a youthful yet powerful barley with rich umami, strong mint notes, and a balanced woody depth. Slightly briny with a long finish. 【Very Good】 This is an official Big S bottling of Springbank 1967, labeled as Cambeltown Malt, aged for 10 years and bottled as a single cask for the Italian market. It seems to be the same bottle I drank at a周年 event in Yurakucho previously. As with the previous one, this bottle is also impressive for its diverse sherry-type fruity, spicy, and herbal nuances, strong woody character, and the thick barley notes typical of a short maturation. It was extremely delicious, with an aroma and flavor complexity that one would not expect from a single cask bottling, making the tasting experience quite intense. I received this bottle from Fingal in Kagurazaka.
