Upon drinking, there is also a vitamin-like chemical note but with tropical sensations of pears, peaches, and pineapple. There is also vanilla, creaminess, oiliness with some viscosity, but the body is not too thick. The finish is also fruity and oily. 【Good/Very Good】 Bottled in 2012 by Coopers Choice, this is a 45-year-old Lochside from 1967. At the time of release, it had a slightly high price impression, but now it is available at an affordable price, making it a delicious 60s bottle. The aroma is filled with complex and strong fruits such as oranges, peaches, pears, and tropical fruits like pineapple. Although the body has become slightly lighter after long aging, there is no off-flavor or over-ripeness. Additionally, the presence of a slightly chemical-like nuance and oiliness alongside tropical fruits is a characteristic often found in this range of Lochside. Having drunk it at the time of release, this bottle delivers a burst of fruits as expected and met my expectations in terms of deliciousness.
