GlenGoyne 1968 Official Vintage Reserve 50.3%

GlenGoyne GLENGOYNE 1968 OB VINTAGE RESERVE 50.3% one of 4500 bottles
Bottle #グレンゴイン(GLENGOYNE)
Of course, I love GlenGoyne's Vintage Reserve. GlenGoyne GLENGOYNE 1968 OB VINTAGE RESERVE 50.3% one of 4500 bottles The aroma is elegant and intoxicating, with notes of apple pie with lingering acidity, premium orange tea, pleasant oak, cinnamon and ginger soup, a comforting barley sensation, and complexity. When drinking, it starts with a soft mouthfeel that expands into a rich bouquet of apricot and apple jam, orange cream, premium black tea, a sweet depth with a subtle tightening woodiness, and an elegant, long-lasting finish. 【Very Good/Excellent】 This is the official Vintage Reserve bottling from GlenGoyne, distilled in 1968 and aged for over 25 years. While I also greatly enjoy the 1969 Vintage Reserve, this bottle was exceptionally intoxicating. Particularly notable were the cinnamon-infused apple pie and premium tea-like nuances, which seemed to be the source of its intoxicating character. Though not a malt that emphasizes thick body or chewy barley flavors, it carries naturally developed fruity complexity while maintaining a present body, resulting in an elegant, core-rich aroma. Compared to the previous 1969 I tasted, this one might have a slightly stronger cask influence and tighter woody characteristics? I love both equally. #GlenGoyne (GLENGOYNE)
