On the palate, it starts with a smooth mouthfeel, expanding gradually with gentle old sherry notes, refined malty sweetness, a rich sweetness, and subtle vegetal bitterness that adds depth to the flavor. 【Very Good】 This is a Cadenhead Authentic Collection bottle, green-bottled Tamnavulin matured for 21 years from 1973 to 1995. Tamnavulin is often associated with a lesser-known distillery, sometimes evoking rolly or grassy astringent notes. However, this expression has a mild yet encompassing sherry character and a distinctive, malty richness reminiscent of Green Cadenhead. The fruitiness is pleasant, with appealing tea-like nuances. While I did detect some grassy astringency, it was subtle and seemed to enhance the overall depth of flavor. With a well-balanced drinking experience, this was one of the most delicious Tamnavulin bottles I've ever tasted.
