Upon drinking, it starts with a smooth mouthfeel, giving a viscous texture, slightly creamy, with a rich sweetness of citrus and apricot jam, good acidity, barley umami, and a faint peat and planty note in the background, leaving a pleasant aftertaste. [Very Good] This is Aultmore 1974-1988 bottled for the Samaroli 20th Anniversary. It's a 50% ABV whisky. The aroma is strong and clearly fruity, with an integrated sense of diverse elements such as rich fruitiness, tea, planty notes, and old wooden characteristics after bottling. When tasted, it offers a broad range of flavors with a rich fruity sweetness and acidity, barley umami, and a subtle peat note in the background. It's an exceptionally well-rounded old bottle.
