GlenDronach 1974-2001 26 Year Old Blackadder #3407
Bottle #グレンドロナック(GLENDRONACH)
I reaffirmed what a GlenDronach without heavy cask influence used to taste like.

The aroma features old white wine, pear and strawberry, grapefruit, nuts, a gentle malty note, faint vanilla cream, soft oak, complex and pleasant.
When drinking, it starts with a smooth mouthfeel that expands into an intoxicating sensation. The aroma's fruitiness is joined by pineapple, giving a juicy impression, with aging depth and a refined sweetness balanced by subtle acidity, leaving a long, pleasant aftertaste.
【Very Good】
Blackadder bottled this GlenDronach 1974 in 2001, aged for 26 years.
While GlenDronach is often associated with Sherries, this one had a relatively plain cask influence without strong color.
The aroma features a grapefruit and white grape-like freshness reminiscent of the Dumpy 8-year-old official old bottle, with a subtle strawberry note and hints of pear that suggest aging depth. The complex aroma also retained some malty character, though softened by aging.
Even when drinking, the fruity notes remained prominent, with a hint of tropical fruit juice-like nuance.
The flavor also clearly conveyed aging depth, offering an enjoyable, intoxicating drinking experience from start to finish.
