Port Ellen PORT ELLEN 1975-1998 23yo HART BROTHERS 43%
Bottle #ポートエレン(PORT ELLEN)
I enjoyed the concentrated flavor profile of this Port Ellen. Port Ellen PORT ELLEN 1975-1998 23yo HART BROTHERS 43% The aroma features concentrated dried citrus, ripe apricot, black tea, brine, strong peat smoke. On the palate, it has a smooth mouthfeel with gentle sweetness, concentrated umami, good citrus acidity, light barley, and a slightly crisp finish. 【Good/Very Good】 This is a Port Ellen 1975, aged for 23 years from Hart Brothers. The aroma has a concentrated citrus note like freeze-dried fruit, and a fruity character reminiscent of ripe apricot. The peat is also clearly present. When tasted, it's soft and watered-down as expected, but still has a concentrated umami flavor and a strong peat presence. However, it doesn't have a heavy body, and the finish is crisp and clean, which was an impressive characteristic. #Port Ellen (PORT ELLEN)
