Clyde CAOL ILA 1984-1996 11yo for Bar Metro 46% The aroma has a powdery, condensed citrus, dry grainy notes, sea breeze and cold metallic sensation, with a smoky tar-like peatiness. When drinking, it has a spicy, gradually emerging texture with some chewy condensed sensation and powdery notes, sweet citrusy tones, a gentle sweetness and acidity, with lingering metallic and strong peaty aftertaste. 【Good/Very Good】 This Clyde 1984, aged for 11 years, was bottled in 1996 for Bar Metro located in Milan, Italy. Both in aroma and flavor, there are elements reminiscent of Lagavulin with powdery condensed citrus and sweetie-like citrus notes, as well as the cool metallic and crispness characteristic of Clyde. Of course, the strong peatiness is still present, but this is a very delicious Clyde that can be enjoyed without stress. This condensed aroma and flavor profile are quite close to a VG in my personal preference.
