Similar to the previously introduced 35-year-old bottling of the same label, it showcases a harmonious blend of ripe fruits and creamy notes in both aroma and flavor. Notably, the flavor featured a distinct floral perfume, which was unexpected as I had never encountered perfumed whiskies before. It felt more like a flavor imparted by the cask or bottling process rather than the original spirit. While the perfume was prominent initially, it faded smoothly, leaving a pleasant fruity and creamy aftertaste.
