Preferred type, the tension rises with the barley. Miltonduff MILTONDUFF 1984 28yo THE SCOTCH MALT WHISKY SOCIETY 72.35 50.0% one of 250 bottles, Refill Bourbon Hogshead The aroma is simple and good barley, faint pear or peach, orange, a bit of cinnamon, plain cask feel. When drinking it expands from the smooth mouthfeel, ripe orange, rich barley flavor, gentle sweetness, and the aftertaste is also simple and pleasant. 【Very Good】 Recently released, SMWS's 72.35, Miltonduff 1984, 28 year old. A simple and thick barley feel is clearly felt from the aroma to the flavor, with a variety of fruity notes but subtly asserting itself from deeper within the barley. It's not overly complex, but the cask feel is plain and without any strong characteristics. With 28 years of aging, it has lost its roughness or immaturity while maintaining a solid body. It's a bottle that allows you to directly feel the barley's deliciousness. Personally, I felt nuances connecting it to Green Caden or Cestasante, which made me excited. I would like to try it again after keeping it unopened for over 10 years. I think it will definitely retain its body while bringing more fruity notes to the forefront, adding complexity.
