New Release: Glen Keith 1985 29 Year Old Cadenhead Gold Label
Bottle #グレンキース(GLENKEITH)
The unique nuance reminiscent of chamomile tea or bath salts was impressive.
Glen Keith GLENKEITH 1985-2014 29yo Cadenhead Gold Label 47.5%
one of 108 bottles, Bourbon Hogshead
The aroma is vibrant and fruity with notes of pineapple, pear, green apple and citrus, good oak, light cream, mint, chamomile tea, eucalyptus oil, and bath salts. Upon tasting, it starts with a soft mouthfeel that gently expands into refined sweetness and acidity of pineapple and sweetie, slightly creamy with a pleasant, non-offensive finish.
[Good/Very Good]
From the Cadenhead Gold Label, this is a new release of Glen Keith 1985, aged for 29 years.
The aroma is strong and vibrant with a light tropical feel and a diverse range of bourbon-style fruits, adding an impressionable nuance reminiscent of chamomile tea and bath salts.
When tasted, it is indeed firmly fruity with a slight creaminess, making for a pleasant drinking experience. It was a real realization that even 1980s distillates, when matured properly, can develop a strong sense of maturity in the cask.
