GlenTurret GLENTURET 1986-2014 Official Bottling Glasgow 2014 Limited Edition 46.4% One of 1800 bottles The aroma is elegant and creamy, with notes of vanilla, ripe orange, Grand Marnier, a good cereal note in the background, and fine oak. Upon drinking, it expands from a smooth mouthfeel into a Coaught-like sweetness, with rich cereal flavors and a slight chewiness, good oak, slightly rich and creamy finish that lingers. [Good/Very Good] Reportedly filled for the 'GLASGOW 2014 XX COMMONWEALTH GAMES' project, GlenTurret 1986-2014. A limited official bottle clearly labeled with Famous Grapes, one of the key malts for Turret. The aroma is rich with concentrated orange and vanilla notes reminiscent of Grand Marnier, along with good bourbon cask elements like oak. The cereal notes were also well-balanced. Upon tasting, the sweet orange liqueur-like flavors and rich cereal nuances reminiscent of the aroma were evident, with a satisfying chewiness. The rich, unobtrusive finish was also very pleasant. A specially designed official bottle with impressive content that made me want to own it.
