The aroma has a rustic barley note and jammy fruits with tea notes, but upon drinking, it is unexpectedly fruity, adding tropical fruit nuances like pineapple and a juicy sensation. It aligns with current trends, differing slightly from Adelphi's usual natural image. However, the balance of sweetness and tannins is good, making it a very flavorful new release. Among recent new releases, which often follow a bourbon-like profile of green apple, vanilla, and oak, this offers a slightly different direction, which is also commendable.
