This vintage of Littlemill may be your first encounter with it. The aroma suggests a sherry cask finish, offering a diverse range of jam-like fruity notes. However, the characteristic paper-like quality of Littlemill is also strongly present. Upon tasting, it offers a rich expansion and a viscous texture. In addition to the jam-like fruity notes, there is also a clear tropical fruitiness. The paper-like quality remains noticeable and, combined with its oiliness, gives it a similarity to some Irish whiskies that occasionally have this paper-like quality. For those who are not bothered by the paper-like quality, it is a full-bodied and delicious whisky with rich sherry notes and tropical fruitiness.
