On the palate, it has an oily, silky texture with estery, pear-like flavors and a rich, sweet honeyed taste. It leaves a long, luxurious finish. [Good/Very Good] This Clynelish was bottled by Adelphi for Shinonoya and is a release from this year. The aroma has notes of apricot, wax, and an oily nuance, while the palate delivers a silky texture that clearly reflects Clynelish's character. Although it is believed to have been aged in a bourbon barrel, the cask influence was well-balanced. It also had a floral aroma reminiscent of white pear, adding an elegant nuance overall.
