This was a rather high-level Speyside malt. Auchroisk AUCHROISK 1990-2013 22yo NECTER with La Maison du Whisky 52.9% The aroma features ripe oranges and apples, vanilla cream, nuts, a good barley note, faint cinnamon, rich oak, and a sweet, marmalade-like orange flavor that spreads gradually with some spice. The oak and tannins provide a tightening effect, while the barley's umami adds to a well-balanced flavor. 【Good/Very Good】 This Auchroisk 1990, aged for 22 years, was bottled as a joint venture between NECTER of Belgium and La Maison du Whisky of France. It seems to have been recently released, but the bottling was in 2013, a bit earlier. It has a rich fruitiness with ripe oranges and apples, along with good barley notes. The oak and tannins add depth to the flavor without being overwhelming, resulting in a rich finish.
