Upon drinking, it is slightly spicy, with syrup sweetness, citrus acidity, oak, and a strong barley note but not very thick. It leaves a clear and clean finish. It has fresh nuances of citrus and green apple, with a slightly youthful barley and plant note. The sweetness is not strong, but there's good acidity, with a light body and a clean, refreshing overall impression. Caperdonich is often associated with fruity expressions like the 1972, which have been popularized by The Agency. In recent years, its perception among malt lovers has changed rapidly.
