It has aromas of vanilla and orange, which are likely from bourbon casks, and there was a solid oak presence. As expected for a watered-down whisky, the flavor is gentle. While there was a slight hint of bitterness from the oak barrel characteristics, it also contributed to the depth, and the drinkability was hardly affected. It was a good starter for the day.
