When drinking it, the palate is spicy, with apple and its sweetness, the umami of barley, and a strong raw oak note, tannins tightening the flavor. [Good] This Glen Keith 1992-2013 was bottled by the Signatory for the La Maison du Whisky ARTIST#3 series. The nuances of apple, vanilla, and citrus typical of bourbon barrel maturation are clearly present, with a strong barley note remaining. When drinking it, the strong, spicy palate is indeed youthful for a high proof whisky. Slightly strong raw oak notes from the cask were a bit of a drawback, but the sweetness and tannins that tighten the flavor weren't bad. #Glen Keith (GLENKEITH)
