On the palate, it delivers a gradual stimulation with orange, vanilla, sweet honey-like richness, and savory cereal notes. The aroma is elegant and natural, with a strong but balanced presence of fruits and vanilla, alongside well-defined cereal and oaky characteristics. On the palate, it delivers a similarly refined flavor profile with a rich honey sweetness and savory cereal depth. It's a well-crafted Speyside malt showing good aging, much like the previously released Glenlossie from the same series. Compared to recent bourbon barrel finishes, it lacks the raw edge or green vegetal notes, offering only refined and pleasant components. Given its barrel origin, this might be the optimal maturity point. It's a bottling that allows for relaxed enjoyment at home without stress.
