Bottle #インペリアル(IMPERIAL)
A tropical-style 1995 Imperial, fruity and good. It's been a while since I drank this. Imperial IMPERIAL 1995-2014 18yo SIGNATORY VINTAGE for ASTA MORRIS #50147 52.4% one of 289 bottles, Hogshead The aroma is heavy fruity, orange, pineapple, creamy oily, oak. Smooth mouthfeel, expanding into orange marmalade, pineapple, sweet flavor with some creaminess and a long finish. 【Good/Very Good】 A new release of Imperial 1995 bottled by Signatory for Asta Morris, aged 18 years. When thinking about Imperial's 1995 releases, recently released ones from the Scotch Malt Whisky Society had a diverse and balanced type that left an impression. However, recalling earlier releases, there were also types with strong tropical fruit notes from Duncan Taylor (e.g., Yuan's Choice) or Shinoya (Nabrione). This bottle falls into the latter tropical type. Very fruity, with a cask strength but creamy smooth drinking experience, which was quite good.
