A stable Clynelish from the 90s. Clynelish CLYNELISH 1995 19yo Abeyhill for KINKO 'Artemis Reserved' 57.3% One of 266 bottles, Hogshead The aroma is softly sweet with apricot, wax, oil, vanilla, and butterscotch. On the palate, it has a smooth mouthfeel with viscosity, featuring wax, oil, vanilla, and a rich honeyed sweetness. The finish is long with rich oak notes. [Good/Very Good] This Clynelish 1995, aged for 19 years, was bottled by KINKO from Abeyhill casks. KINKO often releases bottlings after aging for some time post-bottling. While KINKO would have to hold inventory for a long period after bottling, it's pleasant for drinkers when they release at a price lower than market value once the value becomes apparent. This Clynelish also showcases the waxy, viscous house style properly, without any standout features but with depth and a reassuring deliciousness.
