Linkwood LINKWOOD 1995-2014 WEMYSS MALTS 46% one of 332 bottles, HOGSHEAD The aroma features lemongrass, fresh young leaves, floral white flowers, vanilla, diluted honey, the maltiness has youthfulness but is not immature. When drinking it is fresh, green apple, lemon, youthful maltiness, vanilla, a light syrup sweetness, and has a light body that finishes cleanly. [Good/Very Good] Recently released by Wemyss, the Linkwood 1995 is approximately 19 years old. In both aroma and flavor, there were fresh nuances of citrus fruits, plants, and florals. The maltiness is well-preserved, with a sense of youthfulness but no immature off-flavors. It's easy to drink without any lingering aftertaste. Properly diluted, it allows for a fresh experience without an obvious sense of immaturity. It's a malt that would be ideal to drink early on if having several glasses. #Linkwood (LINKWOOD)
