The sweetness is intense but not cloying, leaving a long, sweet and spicy finish. [Good/Very Good] This Arran 1996 was bottled for Denmark in 2012 as a sherry single cask. I recall that there was previously a bottling called 'Green Arran,' but this one has an even greener hue. While the color might tempt whisky enthusiasts, it could appear murky to those unfamiliar with such characteristics. The aroma carries a rich sherry character alongside fruity notes with juice-like qualities, along with woody and herbal elements.
