The aroma features ripe orange, light apricot tea, a rustic yet strong barley note, vanilla, nuts. On the palate, it begins with a smooth mouthfeel and develops into concentrated orange sweetness, oak tannins add structure, subtle bitterness, and a slightly rich finish. [Good/Very Good]
GlenTauchers 1996, 17-year-old maturation, Sengoku Period Warlords Local Bottle. This bottle was conceptualized by Three Sixty and jointly purchased with support from many restaurants in Aichi Prefecture. In addition to the Oda Nobunaga label, there is also a Miyoshi Hideyoshi label. The bourbon cask influence is evident with notes of orange and vanilla, and the barley character was well-developed for its aging period. Compared to the more plain Miyoshi Hideyoshi label, this Oda Nobunaga label stood out with its richness and depth from the cask influence, offering a full-bodied flavor profile.
