The aroma is elegant, with clear fruitiness of Laphroaig's refill cask style such as grapefruit and white grapes. From the depths, a faint hint of apricot-like notes typical of official bottlings was detected. While not feeling powdery or chewy, it has a sense of concentration. The Laphroaig-like peat with iodine was sufficiently felt. It slightly feels young, but due to dilution, there is no roughness and it's a well-crafted bottle overall.
