[Good/Very Good] This is a 17-year-old Laphroaig from Malts of Scotland, Germany. Though described as a single cask bottling for both WHISKY&CO and Whisky Antique, there appears to be a typo in the latter's name. The contents are accurate, with a subtle sherry influence and Laphroaig's characteristic peat and dashi-like qualities blending naturally. Thanks to the cask influence, the balance of fruit sweetness and tannins was well-proportioned. This was a delicious Laphroaig, freshly bottled and ready to enjoy. Such expressions are rarely found in official releases.
