[Good/Very Good]
This is the current Tullibardine 20 Year Old, official bottle.
From the aroma, there was a jammy and matured feel with tree sap, as well as a slight menthol-like sensation often found in Tullibardine.
When tasted, there was a slight paper-like texture from tropical elements like pineapple, but overall it was dominated by rich fruits and a strong sweetness that lingers with viscosity.
Tullibardine is a distillery closer to Lowland, but I often find bottles that share some of my less favorite elements with Littlemill or Rothes, and this one also had such aspects. However, it was more than compensated by its rich fruity notes and sweet-sour balance, making it a rich and good whisky.
