Upon tasting, it remains fresh with green apple and chamomile, a slightly refined sweetness, umami-rich soft cereal notes, and a clean finish. [Good/Very Good] New release from Cadenhead: Aberlour 2000, 14 years old. While the official tasting notes mention rich nuances like toffee, I strongly sensed a fresh character. Notes of citrus, green apple, chamomile, and kiwi gave a refreshing impression, while the cereal notes felt youthful. Upon tasting, the fresh fruity character remained strong, with a savory quality in the cereal notes that blended more than the aroma.
