When tasted, it retains the same fruity character as the aroma: orange and pineapple, a sweet, honey-like richness, tightened by oak, coconut, and a gentle finish. [Good/Very Good] This Arran 2001, aged for 12 years, was bottled in 2014 specifically for the obscure Luxembourg-based organization 'Eifelboys and Whisky Club Luxembourg.' Though relatively young for a single cask malt, the bourbon barrel aging is evident with strong vanilla, coconut, orange, and honey notes. Additionally, a pineapple-like nuance often found in bourbon-cask Arrans was also noticeable.
