As expected from GM, the specifications here are stable and delicious. Scapa SCAPA 2001-2016 GM Distillery Labels 43% The aroma has green apple candy, orange, vanilla, a pleasant malty note, briny sea breeze and mineral notes. When drinking, it has a subtle spiciness, the taste of orange eaten with its peel and skin, vanilla, a moderate malty note and a faint umami, the sweetness is not strong, with a slightly stronger mineral saltiness. [Good/Very Good] This is the Distillery Label of Scapa 2001 released by GM in 2016. It has been aged for about 15 years and bottled at 43% ABV. The bourbon cask matured aromas of green apple, orange, and vanilla are well present, the malty note is pleasant, and due to the dilution effect, there was already a certain sense of unity. You can also feel the briny and mineral notes typical of the Islands, and as expected from GM, it feels more like the real thing than official releases in a way. #Scapa (SCAPA)
