On the palate, recent sherry, plum jam, chocolate liqueur, coffee, concentrated fruits and their sweetness, astringent finish, gentle smoke, rich and long finish. 【Very Good】 This year's official single cask Highland Park bottled for Heathrow Airport and duty free stores. Aged 14 years from 2002 distillation in a refill sherry butt. It is naturally a recent seasoned sherry cask used by the Edrington Group, but it had very few unpleasant elements including sulphury notes. Despite its aging years, the aroma is diverse and the flavor has depth with good balance. At present, it's a very impressive bottle that is delicious. If official releases demonstrate that good casks are like this, even the less favorably viewed Edrington sherry casks might be worth looking forward to in the future.
