When you drink it, it's spicy, with vanilla and plum, milk chocolate, the umami of young barley, a rich sweetness, a faint tannic note, and powerful strong peat. [Good/Very Good] This Kilchoman 2011 was bottled for the Tokyo International Bar Show this year, matured in an Oloroso Sherry Butt for 4 years. Although it has the youthfulness equivalent to its maturation age, the sherry is well pronounced. It might be a first-fill sherry butt. Impressively, it turned out as a young Islay malt with sherry, and I look forward to seeing more of this in the future.
