When drinking it has a sharp sensation, grapefruit, mild passion fruit tropical notes, smoke, young barley feel, dashi umami. [Good/Very Good] This year's BOWMORE for the Feis Ile. There is no vintage notation, and it was matured in bourbon casks. The aroma is fresh, with a clear grapefruit nuance and strong smoky notes. It still has some youthfulness in the barley feel. When drinking, it starts with a clean grapefruit flavor, and behind that there is a tropical BOWMORE-like note but not very strong. The smoke is quite strong, and there was no clear paper-like nuance that recent BOWMOREs have had. Overall, it felt clean and bourbon cask-like BOWMORE.
