Blair Athol BLAIR ATHOL OB AVAILABLE ONLY AT THE DISTILLERY 48% bottled in 2016, one of 3000 bottles
Bottle #ブレアアソール(BLAIR ATHOL)
I was surprised by its very distinctive flavor. Blair Athol BLAIR ATHOL OB AVAILABLE ONLY AT THE DISTILLERY 48% bottled in 2016, one of 3000 bottles The aroma is sweet and ripe plums, candy apple, milk chocolate wafer. When drinking it, the strong milky, coffee fresh, wafer, oil, and a lingering sweet flavor continue. [Good/Very Good, Interesting] This is Blair Athol's distillery exclusive bottle bottled in 2016, and it might still be available for sale today. Its aroma is soft and sweet, reminiscent of a wafer with milk chocolate like the 'Bikkuri Man' chocolate, which is interesting. However, what surprised me even more was its flavor, as it has a very strong milky nuance similar to the coffee fresh of Edradour. The contrast between aroma and flavor is interesting, as well as the strong uniqueness that I had never felt in Blair Athol. It was a very interesting bottle, including why it was made as a distillery exclusive.
