New Release: Springbank 21yo Official 2015 Release

Springbank SPRINGBANK 21yo OB 46% 2015 Release
Bottle #スプリングバンク(SPRINGBANK)
This year's release is well-balanced and offers a satisfying finish. Springbank SPRINGBANK 21yo OB 46% 2015 RELEASE The aroma is elegant, with notes of ripe apricot, plum and strawberry jam, vanilla, honey, pleasant cereal characteristics, rich, soft mouthfeel expanding into a rich, sweet flavor with hints of plum jam and honey, a clear saltiness, a textured mouthfeel with some chewiness, rich oak tannins deepening the flavor, vanilla, faintly smoky, with some peat but not strong. [Good/Very Good] The Springbank 21 Year Old Official Bottle, released annually since 2011, is the latest release. It has a refined, mature aroma with a sense of ripeness, featuring jammy notes including strawberries and fully developed fruit nuances, along with honey-like sweetness and excellent cereal characteristics for a rich aroma. Upon tasting, the strawberry jam notes become slightly subtler than the aroma but remains sufficiently fruity with a rich, sweet flavor. There's also a briny quality, and the good oak nuances typical of previous years add depth to the flavor. It has a concentrated, aromatic taste. As expected from a carefully bottled product, the cask character is particularly good each year. Compared to last year's release, it doesn't feel stronger but still has strawberry jam notes and briny qualities, making it a rich, high-quality Springbank. Additionally, there's no noticeable increase in peatiness compared to last year, suggesting the 21 Year Old brand remains in good health.
