New Release: Glenrothes 21 Year Old Official Minister's Reserve 43%

Glenrothes GLENROTHES 21yo OB MINISTER'S RESERVE 43%
Bottle #グレンロセス(GLENROTHES)
A surprisingly light sherry note. Glenrothes GLENROTHES 21yo OB MINISTER'S RESERVE 43% The aroma is not dominant but strong sherry, ripe plums and oranges, wafer with milk chocolate, faint herbs. When drinking, it has a soft mouthfeel, plums and raisins with stems, chocolate, herbs. Unexpectedly not very sweet, a tightening light planty sensation and tannin, a clean finish. [Good] This is an official Glenrothes 21 Year Old Minister's Reserve purchased from overseas tax stores. It seems this bottle has not yet entered Japan. Although it is called Minister's Reserve, it is unclear who the minister refers to. While it has a sherry influence that wraps around the entire whisky without being overwhelming, there were some concentrated fruity nuances and a nuance reminiscent of milk chocolate. While it had a sherry cask-like tannin and sweetness, the diversity and sweetness were less than expected, and the body was surprisingly light, which left a strong impression. If drinking multiple glasses, I think this type would be ideal for sipping early on. #Glenrothes (GLENROTHES)
