The water-added type had a rich aroma.
Bushmills BUSHMILLS 21yo TEELING WHISKEY Co. 46%
The aroma was full of peach, lychee, plum, oil, and upon drinking it expands with a smooth mouthfeel, tropical fruits such as peach and pineapple, a slightly chemical-like sensation reminiscent of children's syrup medicine, a viscous texture, the sweetness of thick fruit jam, and an oily long finish. [Good/Very Good]
From Teeling Whiskey Co., although there is no distillery listed, it's again Bushmills 21 year old as before.
This one is a water-added type.
From the aroma, it clearly conveyed the ripe fruits centered around peach, typical of Irish whiskey, as well as nuances of oil.
When drinking it, the ripe peach and tropical fruits like pineapple are strongly present as expected from the aroma. It also has a slightly chemical-like nuance, but the fruity sweetness and oily finish are long-lasting, making it delicious.
Although the price is higher compared to the same specification cask strength previously bottled, it seems to be selling well.
Considering that global popularity of Irish whiskey is continuously rising, it feels like the taste and price are on a stable high side.
